Add WC emails “Body text colour” setting to body tag for email preview

    It would be useful if you could add the “Body text colour” setting from WC > Settings > Emails to the body tag when displaying the email preview. The body/background colours have already been added. For dark-themed WC emails, the label text for form elements is either not visible or may not have sufficient contrast.

    Hi Roan,

    Thanks for the info, how preview emails works is it generates the actual template that is being used / sent form woocommerce. So it’s not a replica but the actual email content.

    Additionally i’ve tested this out with a couple of emails now and the colors are being shown as expected.
    Can you please check if any additional styles are overriding your changes

    The email preview looks exactly how it should look.

    The issue is actually with the form labels in the tool options section that your plugin provides to re-submit the preview form with different parameters.

    Looking at the label elements in Dev Tools, I can see that there is no colour attribute set for any of the label elements in the plugin’s tool options section.

    @roan,

    Can you please provide screenshots of this issue ?
    I think you mean the email preview form – but there are not styles applied to that.

    Yes, that is what I am referring to.

    I can see that no styles are applied to the form elements, but because the black background colour from the WC settings is added to the body, the form label elements are not visible.

    I have patched and pushed a fix for this in version 2.2.3.

    I can’t see the updated version on www.remarpro.com yet.

    Once I do, I’ll update it and let you know if the issue is resolved.
