redirect – tried everything

  • I am locked out of my wp-admin.

    When i try to login to admin I just get the login screen again and this in the browser:
    https://dubbo.org/wp-login.php?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fdubbo.org%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1

    I have tried, according to answers here:

    • turn on debug
    • reset all browser cookies and caches
    • disable all plugins
    • reset theme to twentytwenty theme
    • add these to wp-config:
    • define(‘WP_HOME’,’https://dubbo.org’);
    • define(‘WP_SITEURL’,’https://dubbo.org’);
    • upgraded to the lastest wordpress via wordpress.com – worked but not it’s disconnected itself from my site completly, I think becuase all plugins are disables including jetpack.
    • renamed htaccess file to disable it
    • check permissions 644 wp-login and 755 admin folder
    • checked developer console for errors.
    • Any ideas?

    I have re-enabled plugins and themes so my site at dubbo.org is actually working.
    And I have some minimal control from wordpress.com
    It gives the correct ‘count’ of my posts (89) but says “You havn’t created any content yet”

    And I cannot log into the admin.
    If I try ‘write post’ from wordpress.com I get:

    I have re-enabled plugins and themes so my site at dubbo.org is actually working.

    And I cannot log into the admin.

    Can you please let us know how you enabled themes and plugin without logging into WP Admin, did you use FTP for it?

    If so, could you please try renaming the active theme folder (from wp-content/themes folder)? This would reset the active theme and use the default theme — if the issue is with the theme, this would fix it. Do let us know how that goes!

    Thanks, I’ve logged a request with jetpack.
    Yes I renamed the theme folder.
    I also used phpmyadmin to change the theme to twenty-twenty.
