Deprecated: Hook jetpack_check_mobile

    I can’t login to my wordpress admin, and this is the top error after I turned on wp-debug:

    Deprecated: Hook jetpack_check_mobile is deprecated since version jetpack-8.3.0 with no alternative available. in?/home4/machostc/public_html/dubbo/wp-includes/functions.php?on line?6031

    Any ideas?

    Hi there,

    Thanks for reporting this; upon further checks, it looks like this error is not Jetpack’s fault.

    You have something that is still adding a function to that filter, whatever that is should be updated. Can you take a look at any other plugins and see if what I said rings a bell?

    You may also want to cycle the Jetpack connection by deactivating Jetpack in your wp-admin dashboard at Plugins > Installed Plugins and then reactivating it and connecting to WordPress.com again.

    Despite Stef’s cavalier and unsympathetic response, they are correct. I had the exact same error message — right down to the line number. I also have WPTouch on my website. Deactivated WPTouch, and the error went away. I use WPTouch, so I’ll just live with the error until WPTouch fixes the issue. (Of course, you want to make sure DEBUG is off on your production websites.)
