I checked old reviews and they are displaying but new reviews cannot be added on the single product page by customers or admins.
Global settings are enabled : WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Enable reviews, comments are open but the single product setting does not save as seen in the following image.
When i reload the page, the box is unchecked.
The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]
I understand that you’re having trouble with new reviews not being added to the single product page, despite having the global settings enabled.
It is unusual to have changes not getting saved in your store. In most cases, issues with changes not getting saved are related with caching. Are you able to clear any cache if you’re using a caching plugin? Also, please try asking your host to purge any cache from the server side to see if this helps.
Thanks for sharing the video. I tried to replicate the issue on my testing site but was unsuccessful. Everything appears to be functioning correctly. I conducted tests using the Storefront and Twenty Twenty-Four themes on Firefox, Safari, and Chrome.
To troubleshoot the issue further, head over to WooCommerce → Status → Tools, and do the following:
WooCommerce transients – Clear
Expired transients – Clear
Clear template cache – Clear
Capabilities – Reset Capabilities
Clear customer sessions -Clear
Product lookup tables – Regenerate
Regenerate the product attributes lookup table – Regenerate
Next, please clear your browser cache and then check again.
If this makes no difference, then this could be due to a plugin or theme conflict. The best way to determine this is to:
Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront or Twenty Twenty-Four
Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
Repeat the action that is causing the problem
If you do not see the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To determine which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.
If the problem persists, it could be a database issue. In this case, I recommend backing up your site and using a database optimization plugin to clean and optimize your database.
I hope that helps! Let me know once you have done a conflict test!
