    Hi @dreamytravelstory,

    Thank you for your message.

Our plugin does not change the HTML code, so it does not change alt attributes. The plugin does not change URLs to images, so when looking at the source of the website, you will see the URLs for the default images all the time. The plugin creates redirections to output files in WebP and AVIF format, changing the MIME type of these images, but without changing the URL.

Below I have attached the tutorial describing how to test the plugin:

@dreamytravelstory You mentioned the WebP format. I also recommend you to try the AVIF format on your website. Images converted to the AVIF format on your website will weigh about 50% less than images converted to WebP only, maintaining even better image quality. This will further improve the performance of your website.

Thank you so much, I am thinking of going PRO. I just have a question, how can I check that the plugin worked? I tried to go on a random page and save the image, but it still says JPG or PNG.

    My website is https://visitare.net/

    Thank you for the help!

@dreamytravelstory The reports we receive very often do not concern a problem with the plugin operation, but problems with understanding how the plugin works.

Below I have attached the tutorial describing how to test the plugin:
