Issue with displaying dynamic prices

  • On my web shop, I have a dynamic pricing system based on the number of items in the cart. Thus, a customer with two or more items receives a discount, and on the shop page, after adding an item, the display should automatically show the crossed-out old price and the new price.

    However, after installing the w3 total cache plugin, this function no longer works correctly on the shop, index, and shop category pages. It displays correctly only on individual product pages and in the cart.

    Can you help me configure the w3 total cache plugin to continue correctly displaying prices on the shop pages?

    Can you please temporarely add /shop/ to Performance>Page Cache>Advanced>Never cache following pages filed, save all settings and purge the cache and let me know if the probelm you are reffering to persists after this.

    After adding an exception to the shop, there are no more pricing errors. Only the error on the index page remains.

    Yes I can see that this is on all pages. Can you please share how you are setting this, meaning if you are using some woocommerce function or setting for this?

    I use the Discount Rules for WooCommerce plugin. In the settings, I have “show when a rule condition is matched” enabled, and after adding an item to the cart, the plugin crosses out the old price and displays the new price next to it.

    Thank you for yoru patience.
    I’ve shared this information with the dev team and we are working on a solugion for this.

    Page Caching in this case is the cause of the problem because these need to remain dynamic. Can you please check if this plugin allows you to fire those discount rules with the Ajax?

    Hello!

    As far as I can see in the plugin settings, there is no way to initiate the display of prices via Ajax.
