PW WooCommerce Gift Cards doesn’t seem to work with block based checkout

Hey there,

Couple of people in our community have said that they are having issues where the order information doesn’t account the discounted value. This seems to happen with the block based checkout.

I went ahead a created a completely new installation with WooCommerce and PW WooCommerce Gift Cards and setup the system with the block based checkout and cart.

It seems that there is a pretty huge issue where you can indefinetly use coupons in new orders. Problem is most likely besauce the gift card coupon is not added for the order so basically it’s use always counts as available to use.

After this process the same gift card code can still be used for placing new orders. This is another order with different user information but the same gift card that was used before. (Basically the first and second step shows the amount right with the discounted amount) but a used still can get to the order confirmation page and only then the amount is the not discounted amount. I’m also attaching some pictures how the discounts with coupons appear with the block based checkout normally if you create a coupon with the regular WooCommerce options.

Does this help with the troubleshooting? People are transitioning to use the block based checkout currently quite a lot since it’s really good. Would hopefully continue to suggest this plugin for the gift card usage. We have actually been promoting already for couple years ??
