I set up the plugin, went through the proxycheck paid option, put in my API, enabled querying and it’s working in the sense that, when I turn on a VPN, this shows up in the debugging area:

    “proxy”: “yes”, “type”: “VPN”

It is detecting my IP correctly. (ie, header settings are correct)

But when I try to access my site in an incognito window or in another browser, the site still works even though I turned on my VPN.

I have “Also Detect VPN” set to on. So the question is why is my site not blocking VPN/proxy access? I do have a page cache on some pages but I tried adding things to my cart, going to the checkout page, etc — these pages are not cached and should have been blocked.

What’s the next step to figure this out?

    Hello Natarem,

This wouldn’t be the expected behaviour unless you are using the Risk Score option and the VPN falls below the risk score defined.

I understand that you are using a cache, which cache plugin is this? There is now a feature under Block Pages/Posts tab to force Do Not Cache Page headers on the pages selected for blocking, that may be worth a try. Though those pages should already not be cached like you mention.
