    I’m getting the same “not found” error.

    I should have mentioned I’m running Solid Security 9.3.1 (on 23 websites!), most running WordPress 6.4.3

    Hi All,

    This was due to a minor bug following an API update, but it should be all sorted now, thanks to our amazing dev team swiftly addressing it!

    Please let us know if you’re still getting the error, we’re here to help.

    Thanks for your patience!

    Hi @shanedelierrr

    I can confirm that the issue is still happening as of even just a few minutes ago.

    Additionally, on many sites the Security > Dashboard (e.g. https://www.example.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=itsec-dashboard) now just loads a blank page.

    All of the other functions, such as Security > Settings etc… all display their respective pages correctly, but the Security Dashboard just shows a blank page.

    I manage hundreds of sites and this just started happening with the latest update. Tested with Solid Security Pro 8.4.0

    Same thing here, I got the email just 1 hour ago but I looked at the logs and the time for scan error was last 17 hours ago. I use daily digest email so it might be a delay. Perhaps this is already solved now.

    Email: “An error occurred while running the scheduled site scan on MySite: Error Message: Not Found
    Error Code: not_found”

    Error message in the plugin logs:
    WP-Cron Scheduled Task
    The scan failed to properly scan the site.
    Error Message: Exceeded rate limit. Please wait 538 seconds.
    Error Code: rate_limit_exceeded
    If you contact support about this error, please provide the following debug details:
    Array
    code => rate_limit_exceeded
    data => Array
    wait => [integer] 538
    url => https://mydomain.com

    Hi All,

    We believe that some users still see cached data, which you can verify by checking the “Raw Details” of the scan, like @rob900 mentioned.

    If it persists, please manually clear the data by installing a transient clearing plugin like?Transients Manager?and clearing the plugin transients. Next, kindly reset the Solid Security scheduler by enabling the Debug menu (How Do I Enable Solid Security Debug?) and click the “Reset” button below the Scheduler table. Then, wait for the next Scheduled Site Scan to run and let me know if it’s still showing the “not_found” error.

    Hi @anotherdave, the blank pages could be due to another issue. Please create a separate ticket for us to follow the forum?guidelines. Thank you!

    Hi @shanedelierrr,

    Thank you for sharing that info.

    I installed the Transients Manager plugin and it reported 11 transients of which only 3 seem to be related to the SolSec (9.3.1) plugin:

    • ithemes-security-news
    • itsec_wp_upload_dir
    • itsec-site-scanner-[random 32 chars string] (Expired)

    Can you confirm that it’s the itsec-site-scanner-[random 32 chars string] transient that needs clearing? Even when it’s already expired?

    I know there is no harm in clearing transients that expire but the info provided in this post might give the community some idea what to look for.

    Something else. Would be nice to have a similar plugin transients section/ui in the plugin Debug page. Just an idea;-)

    We have over 300 sites – this is going to be tedious….

    Hi @nlpro please excuse the delayed response! Yes, that should be the transient, but since it’s expired already, the cache time should’ve passed by now. Do you still get the “not_found” error on your latest scans?

    Hi @caordawebsol, I definitely understand it will be time-consuming on your part! Can you please let me know if you’re still getting the error on the latest scan for the 29th?

    We actually stopped receiving the “not found” error but I tried manually scanning a couple of the sites and I continually am getting the “Error Code: rate_limit_exceeded” now, even after waiting for the prescribed number of seconds.
