    Hello everyone (:

The tax settings in woocommerce are defined in our store for VAT (17%) and they are defined correctly.
The problem is that due to the Stripe Payment plugin, in which VAT is also defined (it is impossible to change it), in the invoice the customer receives that the VAT is calculated twice(Screenshot attached).

If we remove the VAT settings in woocommerce, it will harm our sales statistics and display incorrect data, also in analytics.

I would love to know if anyone has a solution for how to keep with the tax setting in our store, without it appearing on the invoice that sent by the payment service provider to the customer?

    Thank you!

    Hi @noamel,

The WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway plugin doesn’t typically calculate taxes; it only processes the amount that WooCommerce sends to it. Therefore, the issue might be related to your WooCommerce tax settings or another plugin causing the double VAT calculation.

Please ensure that your WooCommerce tax settings are correctly configured. You can find a detailed guide on how to set up taxes in WooCommerce here: https://woo.com/document/setting-up-taxes-in-woocommerce/

If the problem persists, please try to temporarily disable all other plugins except WooCommerce and Stripe to see if the issue still occurs. This will help identify if there’s a conflict with another plugin.

Let us know how it goes. We’re here to help!

    Hi Shameem,

    Thank you for your comment.

We do not use the WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway plugin. We use the Stripe Payment Gateway plugin of our clearing company.

We checked that the WooCommerce tax settings are correctly configured.

We are looking for a solution for how to keep with the tax setting in WooCommerce tax settings, without it appearing on the invoice that sent by the payment service provider to the customer?

    Thank you

    Hey, @noamel!

    Thanks for clarifying.

If you are using a third-party plugin, please reach out to their support channel so they can assist you further with this.

On this forum we are only able to assist with the plugin WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway.

If you are interested in switching to this plugin so the taxes are calculated correctly, we would love to assist you with that, if needed. Just say the word ??

Thank you. Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help or if you have any questions.

    Have a wonderful day!

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
