  • Same issue here :/

It was working properly for weeks and then suddenly it stopped working, always the same message: “Please ensure your entry is valid”

    Hi @executator, @lukas22

We’re aware of issue that cause the error while you use non latin characters such as “?é”, we will shorting release new version that resolves the issue.

For now you may want to try “Redirection rules” tab which should allow you to use these characters.

    My apologies.
    Stay tuned for new version!

Hi @iclyde, thanks for your answer, but in my case I’m not using special characters and I have that problem.
I have seen other users on this forum having the same problem and I don’t think it is because they are using special characters.

I’ll be watching to see if this is resolved in a future release.

    Thank you very much.

    Hi @executator

Could you please provide which URL and where you can’t use?
We will use it for test purposes to confirm your issue will be resolved as well.

    Hi @executator

No, same issue with version 1.2.2

    I’m using redirections like this:

    From https://que-ri.co/qr00019 to https://que-ri.co/codigo-qr-pendiente/
It was working for me but, at some point, with an update, it stopped working.

    Thanks for you time!

    Hi @executator

I thought you struggle with “Please ensure your entry is valid” error this topic is about setting new redirections, issues with existing redirection is something else and there are no changes to it in above version.

Make sure that “Ignore parameters?” and “Ignore trailing slashes?” option is enabled in advanced options of the redirection.

That should work, there is high chance that something conflicts with our plugin it can be theme or permalink conflict, based on the trace route: https://wheregoes.com/trace/20241067000/

We will check it anyway, would it be possible for you before you apply any changes to export your redirections list and share it with us to:
[ support (at) redirection dot pro ]

Maybe I’ll be able to find something else to make it work with current version, thank you!

    Hi @executator, @lukas22

We have released new version of the plugin, as you downloaded beta version you may need to clear site cache in your browser to get all patches applied properly.

On Mac you can do that with Option+Command+R in Safari
On Chrome you can do that with Command+Shift+R
On Windows in most browsers it will be Control+Shift+R

If that still does not work try clearing cache manually in browser settings for your particular domain.

@executator, we specifically tested your redirection and the issue was caused because we missed case without www. validation, when somebody starts with http(s):// the plugin expected www. as well to make the URL valid which was not true, we fixed it.

Let me know if that resolves your issue ??
    Thank you!
