    Hello,
    I installed the plugin https://woo.com/products/woocommerce-additional-variation-images

In the CSV catalog that I imported into woo, for each of the variable products, on each of the variations there are several images, since I imported woo file my products have been imported and the images as well but the problem is that on each of my product sheets with variation I only see one image
As I said earlier I don’t want to have to go to
    WooCommerce > Products.
And select the variable products 1 by 1 to add multiple images to the variations,
Is there a configuration so that automatically all my images that are in my CSV file are automatically visible on the product variation pages of my products?

I asked my questions to Bing Ai, chatgpt and gemi (regarding importing multiple images from my CSV to woocommerce)
From memory they all have a slightly different answer but roughly the same, bing told me to add a _wc_additional_variation_images column in my CSV. In it I had therefore created a variable product and variation, Bing told me to add the IDs of my images in this column, in the cells corresponding to the variations with the IDs in the format 2512,2513 but it doesn’t work yet I tried everything: “2512,2513” / 2512,2513 / “2512|2513” / 2512|2513
And they told me once the CSV is saved and imported into woo, during mapping you have to match the meta columns of my CV with the meta column of woo
so do you agree with that, apparently not?
so you tell me that I should not add a meta column in my CSV, for multiple images, but I should add them in the parent column?
except that in the parent column there are the UGC in the cells of the variations of my variable products

    Thanks

  • Hi there,

Thank you for contacting WooCommerce Plugin Support. I understand you are having trouble with importing multiple images for variations of your products using the WooCommerce Additional Variation Images plugin.

The correct way to import multiple images for variations using a CSV file is to use the Images column in your CSV file, not the _wc_additional_variation_images column. The Images column is where you can specify the main image and the gallery images for each product or variation, separated by commas. You can use either the image URLs or the image IDs in this column. You can find more information about the CSV file format and the Images column here.

Once you have prepared your CSV file with the correct format, you can import it into WooCommerce. After the import is done, you should be able to see the multiple images for variations of your products on your product pages.

I hope this helps you resolve the issue. If you have any further questions or need more assistance, please let us know.

??yes as I told you I created a product catalog in CSV format, in this CSV there is an images column in which I can put URL of my main image but I cannot add multiple images, at least for? variations, so I asked Bing Ai how to do it and he told me to add the plugin I was talking about then I asked him how can I add multiple images from my CSV file and he told me? said that I need to add a column for multiple images for my variation products but it doesn’t work for me

    ?? hey @cyrillllllllllllllll

Let’s zoom out for a moment, and take things from the top.

In the CSV catalog that I imported into woo, for each of the variable products, on each of the variations there are several images

Could you please elaborate further on how this CSV file was created? Was it directly exported from the WooCommerce store, using the core import/export functionality, or otherwise?

Additionally, to get an idea of how your site is configured, could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status, as exemplified here? Once you’ve done that, you can paste it here or into our https://quickforget.com/ service and send that secret link here.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

est-ce que je peux vous envoyer des captures d’écran par email ou ailleurs parce que ici je ne peux mettre que des URL d’images mais je n’ai pas, j’ai seulement des captures d’écran en PNG

    Thread Starter cyrillllllllllllllll

    (@cyrillllllllllllllll)

can I send you screenshots by email or elsewhere because here I can only put image URLs but I don’t have, I only have screenshots in PNG

regarding simple products, I can put multiple images like this: “https://koukoubijoux.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/T8-scaled.webp,

    https://koukoubijoux.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/T7_1-scaled.webp”

    or like this:

    https://koukoubijoux.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/T8-scaled.webp,

    https://koukoubijoux.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/T7_1-scaled.webp”

but it works for simple products only, not variable products

also do you know if it is possible to add attributes, which Google merchand Center requires, from a CSV file?

I would like to add multiple images in my CSV then import all my products with the multiple images on my variable products, variations, into woocommerce

and then I would like to make a product feed with productive feed pro then transmit this product feed to GMC and therefore have all these multiple images brought into my GMC

if you do GMC then I would also like to ask you a question regarding syncing my products via a Google sheet in GMC, I asked the question to GMC support but they don’t know

    Hey there ??

The WooCommerce Additional Variation Images extension is indeed a helpful tool for managing product images, but for importing multiple images for variations via CSV, you would need to use an extension such as Product CSV Import Suite, as this is not a built-in feature of WooCommerce core.

You can read more about this here:

    https://woo.com/document/woocommerce-additional-variation-images/#section-6

On the other hand, since your support request relates to a premium extension, if have a valid license, please contact us directly via?Woo.com → My Account → Support.

    Howdy ??

    Hi @cyrillllllllllllllll,

I didn’t understand, would you like I post my screen shot here https://quickforget.com ?

The Quickforget is for sharing sensitive information over text. For screenshots, you can use any online service, such as https://snipboard.io/, for instance. This will help you share helpful information with us that’ll help us troubleshoot this issue in a quick and easy way.

Do you have any questions regarding this? What my colleague was referring to there is that you’re trying to work with something that’s not part of the basic WooCommerce plugin but rather an extension of it. In this case, the?WooCommerce Additional Variation Images extensions, to be precise. So, the regular imports for WooCommerce may not work as expected. You’ll need something that works with that extension. My colleague suggested Product CSV Import Suite.

I hope this helps so far.

    All the best,
    Omar

I wanted to ask you a new question regarding synchronization

but this time I would like to talk to you about API synchronization, I know nothing about development,

Is it like if I use the same CSV file for the different marketplaces I want to sell on like Amazon, eBay Etsy, Facebook… it’s like I’m using an API?

Can this replace the API method or an expensive plugin like chanable when it comes to syncing my products? I mean in the case where on my CSV file there is a product at and my stock is 50, I sent this CSV file to all the marketplaces that I just mentioned, my question regarding stock and synchronization is If a sale is made on Amazon will it remove a unit from my CSV file? That is to say, will I go from 50 products to 49 products in my CSV? And then will it synchronize the stock on all other marketplaces to 49 units?

something else, I made a site and sent a product feed to my Google merchant center,
there was someone from Google who called me and made an ad for me but the results were catastrophic, in 4 days I only got one click, could you look at my products and the publicity he gave me and tell me what you think of it

    Howdy @cyrillllllllllllllll ,

We’d be happy to take a closer look. As mentioned previously, please can you contact us directly via Woo.com → My Account → Support since the main issue relates specifically to a premium extension (WooCommerce Additional Variation Images).

We’ll be happy to help you further there ??

    Cheers!

    Hey there,

Apologies, my message sent before your new one came through ??

I wanted to ask you a new question regarding synchronization

Since this is a different issue, not related to the original issue for this topic, and this has aslready been marked as resolved, would you?please create a new topic?

    Thanks!

    @afzalpansuvi

yes that’s what I did but it doesn’t work,
when you say I had already made an images column in my CSV with my multiple images then I had taken this file into woocommerce but the multiple images, I mean multiple images for my product variations, don’t get carried away

so I asked gemini and I happen to add a _wc_additional_variation_image column but it doesn’t work, I wrote to the plugin administrators and they told me that it’s not true that this function is not available
