Media Not Visible in Menu in Child Theme

Is this related to the Admin Menu Editor plugin? For example, is this issue only happening when AME is active? If not, then this specific subforum is probably not the best place for that question.

Hi, Janis. Yes, this is related to the Admin Menu Editor plugin. I am able to reorder items when either the Divi theme or the child theme is active, but I cannot see the Media menu item when the child theme is active.

Does the menu item reappear if you temporarily deactivate AME?

I didn’t think to check that, but Media does not show when AME is deactivated. based on this test, I suspect that something in the child theme must be the source of the problem.

That seems likely. It might be designed to hide the menu for some reason.

I was using a child theme setup that I got from the leader of our local Divi group. It was the source of the problem. I spun up a new site on my localhost and everything is working fine with a minimal child theme setup. Thank you again for pointing me in the right direction to get past this issue.
