    Please someone from the wordpress dev team fix this bug.

    Hi @mubbi_qureshi, thanks for letting us know about this.

    We will usually look at and address deprecation messages in line with our plugin updates to stay compatible with WordPress’ currently supported PHP versions.

    However, in this case it seems like the notice is actually being caused by WP Mail SMTP Pro. If Wordfence was associated with this notice then I expect it was during the sending of an alert email or similar through this plugin from your site.
