• To be succinct and hopefully devoid of any debate, I would like to let you know that the Unoffocial WP 1.5 Theme List has been updated completely and will continue to be there for any who wish to use it.

    It is located at
https://shadows.os42.com/2005/02/19/wp-themes-list-for-15/ which is my own blog and it is also mirrored at
    https://te.os42.com/?p=127
which is the WordPress Reference Centre. [I am looking into installing every theme on the WRC but this will take a little bit of planning. If you feel like helping, please contact me [shadow12 gmail]

I have not counted the themes in the list to be honest, but one thing is for sure – there’s a helluva lot of them!

    Have fun ??

Thanks for sticking with us, Shadow! BTW, which list do you want linked to in the collection of theme lists? The one on your blog or the WRC? I’d assume the one on your blog since that’s where the theme previews are.

    Just a small update again.

After almost 10 hours straight I have made some major changes to the WordPress Reference Centre.

    https://te.os42.com

It now lists over 200 WP 1.5 themes, has been updated to Strayhorn from a previous nightly, a whole new design and layout and a few new posts to boot.

The other big news is that it now has nearly 100 of the themes listed active on the site for people to peruse when choosing a theme.

I need to take a break [wash, eat socialise – you know – human things] and I will try to add the next 100 themes over the next couple of days.

Let me know what you think. Hopefully it will be of some use to people ??

It looks fantastic Shadow. I for one very much appreciate your hard work, as I’m sure do many others. ??

Nice work shadow. A list is just a list. Your site is a real resource. Diversity doesnt matter. You are going to be many folks first and only choice and the preferred window for theme devs to showcase their work. . You may need more bandwidth :).

    Update:

    Over 250 themes listed

Nearly 200 themes activated on site

    Wowsers!

Incredible! Great work, SOOOO easy to use. Thanks!

shadow – You know what would be a great idea, imho… Since I noticed the thread regarding “broken themes”, I was thinking about the possibilities of setting up something similar to CSS Beauty, Stylegala, etc. specifically for WordPress themes. Contributors would be able to post a review of each theme, known issues, etc. Then users could post their own feedback. Likes / dislikes, whatever. Just taking the whole repository idea, which is a great one by itself, and expanding on it, basically. Lemme know what you think… *shrug* ??

    Great stuff, shadow!

I am certainly open to the idea Pplproof. It makes sense ??

Shadow – Sorry it took so long for me to reply, but work this past week has been a proverbial and literal bastage. ?? “If you build it, they wi–…” Okay, maybe not, but if you build it, I’ll help ya market the heck out of it!
