Reviews are not updated

With the plugins you get the chance to display the last 10 reviews and manually update them every 14 days. In case you need auto update please consider subscribing to the admin page where this function is available.

But update the number of total reviews?
Where it fails is in the number of total reviews, it shows the number 127 but it is 130 reviews.

When we put the plugin in, it was inserted and there was this:

But weeks have passed and there have been new reviews as attached below:

But it doesn’t change the number and still shows 127 and the latest reviews are not shown either. Here I show that these latest recent reviews do not appear:

In the plugin the reviews won’t update automatically.

You can manually update them under the my reveiws tab.

Just want to chime in here as well. I have manually updated the reviews (under the my reveiws tab) on a client site and the reviews do indeed update, but the number of reviews has not changed. The client has 512 reviews on Google, but on the website (shortcode display) the number is still the same at the previous reviews count.

I think there is an issue with the reviews count output for the layout display.

If you visit this link > https://fumanchuoriental.com/, you’ll see the Google reviews section. Then see where is says Based on 492 reviews, if you visit the actual Google page reviews on this link > https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&q=Fu+Manchu+Oriental+-+Chevron+Island#lrd=0x6b9105c0b36bc22f:0x7204c2c5c5cbd2cf,1,,,, you’ll see the number of reviews is 512. This number should also show on the website.

I think this is what @desarrollomarksonoma is referring to.

Hi, as many others have already said, your plugin is not updating Google reviews correctly after pressing ‘Download new reviews’ button. This issue started for last time (10 days ago) and has still not been resolved after this 10 day cycle when we attempted to download new reviews yesterday. All worked fine before so something is broken on your end, especially seeing that many others have the exact same issue.

It looks like you have updated the reviews and also the number is the same as it appears on google.

Hi, I manually reset the widget, disconnected our Google profile and connected it back again. Number of reviews is now displayed correctly, however, it didn’t download the latest reviews – latest displayed review is from two weeks ago, even though we’ve had new reviews added since then.
