Record sale in Square when paid by check

Just to make sure we understand your goal so we can provide the correct answer: You have your WooCommerce store correctly syncing with Square. Every order, no matter the payment method deducts the stock correctly.

The issue is that when someone pays by check the sale is not recorded on Square, correct? And to pay by check you mean the default Woo option under WooCommerce > Settings > Payments, which is not part of Square, right?

Furthermore, I’d like to understand your site properly. Please share with us the System Status Report which you can find via WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support.

The WooCommerce Square plugin is designed to sync inventory and record sales that are processed through the Square payment gateway. However, when a customer chooses to pay by check, the payment is processed outside of Square; hence the sale is not recorded in Square.

While the inventory is correctly adjusted due to the integration between WooCommerce and Square, the sales record for check payments is only maintained in WooCommerce, not Square. This is a limitation of the plugin’s functionality, as it only records transactions processed through Square.

However, you can manually enter the transaction in Square to keep your sales records consistent across both platforms.

Is it possible in the future for an option to sync completed orders to sales in Square automatically?
