This could be an amazing plugin if it worked well. I’ve spent an obscene amount of time the past few days trying to make this plugin look how it does in the demonstration. After getting it switched to timeline view so I could put my workshops in my pre-created sessions, I went through and did a bunch of classes to get started (I’ll have 50+ more to add). The page still shows as a one column list of the workshops, even though I’ve tried changing it back and forth to horizontal tabs, and vertical, saving, refreshing, everything. Nothing works. Adding columns to see if it would snap to the grid if there were 4 instead of 3, and it never did anything. Its only showing as a long list which would only be desirable on mobile. Created themes for the type of classes so I could color code for type of class. I followed the instructions for the additional css to create the color with hex for each theme slug so they would be color coordinated. That doesn’t work either. There also isn’t a “key” anywhere near the top for me to tell people which color is for what kind of class, so in a way it seems like if I CAN get it work, it would just look colorful with no purpose.

I paid for the pro expecting more functionality but so far its not been worth it. The basic ‘register’ for the class button is there at the bottom and that works, I tested it and got an email as expected. I like that people can see what they have signed up for in a tickets box, thats awesome and a major reason I wanted the plugin because people are always asking ME before the event what classes they have signed up for. BUT there is no way for me to create a payment link for those classes if someone goes to register. They are classes with specific educators who need paid for those classes directly either via paypal or eventbrite. I don’t know if there is a way to add that in, so it says “Registration Pending, Payment Required” and have a link or something. But without a way for someone to fully register and pay for their workshop, than the pro is useless to me and I’ll just have to use a wpform and have those registration separate.

Thanks, I hope you can help make this function.

Looks like you have “Group by Location” enabled on your sessions, hence all the workshops being stuck together in one column. Turn that off and they’ll become separate boxes and snap to the grid in however many columns you want.

For colouring the workshops by theme – you’ve got a typo in the CSS which is making it not work – it should be background-color: instead of background-colour: (the U in color shouldn’t be there). Change that and they’ll work. There isn’t a color key built it, but you can add one at the top that you custom make if you like.

As for registration, the system works on the concept of purchasing a single product/eventbrite ticket to gain access to register for any/all workshops – there isn’t a separate payment option for each workshop. If that’s something that you need, I’m happy to talk with you and give you a proposal/quote for coding a custom solution that will meet your exact needs.

thank you for responding. I was able to quickly go in and make those few changes that fix the issues. You might want to update your directions for people just so that this is clear and people don’t run into it. I thought I had copied and pasted the CSS code from the directions on how to do the color, so I’m not sure how the U got in there.

As far as paying more for registration to work with payment for each class I don’t want to do that. This is a volunteer thing for me. In fact, I thought it was what I was paying for when I paid for the PRO and since it’s not, I’d rather be refunded for that since I will need to find another way for registration. There isn’t anything else in the pro additional price that is valuable to me.
I already paid for WP forms for the basic event registration and I think I can make that work instead for all the classes. I just liked the idea of it all working from your system but since it won’t I’ll have to do a round about way.

Thanks again for responding and helping me get this set up correctly.

Glad you were able to sort out the issues. Looks like the typo in the CSS was mine – sorry (too bad I can’t edit old posts here to correct it).

To request a refund, please use the Support form on the website so it gets linked with the proper account.

Thank you, I appreciate the support! I think if you can implement that in the future you’ll be getting close to people not needing to spend a lot on the big event softwares. You have a great start. Again thank you for following up. Off to go make my color key… ??
