• I need to open a multisite – some sites that will have the same style and structure. for example – a school that every grade has a site for itself with individual content (updates, homework, list of students) but all the sites will have the same design and the same pages.

If some day I decide to add a page to the sites (i.e. – image gallery of the grade), can it be automatic for all the sites? or I need to add the new page site by site?
And if I want to make changes in the design, do I need to copy it to all the sites? can it be automatic?

  • You will have to manually add the page for each website. WordPress Multi Site allows you to manage multiple blogs in one place, but you will have to customize them individually.

However, you can add a template to the network and use it for all your site.

where do I need to put the template for multi-use?

    No, that is blog specific.

    No, theme files are global.

You’re running your own mini version of wordpress.com.
