Two weeks ago I moved from wp-rocket to litespeed plugin as my server provider (chemicloud) supporte litespeedcache.

Since then I figured out my best working set-up that is not breaking the site. Since moving from wp-rocket to litespeed my page went down really hard in the core vitals performance (that is based on real users performance). Now my page fail both core vitals desktop/mobile and is diving to FCP 2.8s and LCP 3.2s.

When you do the browser lighthouse the performance is poor. Also the first visit is horrible, the pages loads for ever (I would even say that longer then without any plug-in). When you check in manually I got the same results. Some time the page loads rocket fast, the other time it loards super slow.

It is worth nothing that I have a listing site which is really dynamic when it comes to content. I figure that I should use the server stale to not clear cache every time someone submits something but it seems not to improving the site performance, day by day it is going down:

My question is, if it is even possible to pass core vitals and have a stable performance for a listing page?

Chemicloud support gave up on me and told me to go back to previous wp-rocket + cloud flare set up if I got better results but I would like to ask you guys for help before I do so.

really dynamic when it comes to content.

stale won’t work this way.

if it frequently get rid of cache , it could have negative impact like this as some of the optimization processes could be time consuming

but in case you want to stop the cache purge , how do you want to handle the content update by then ?

No idea ?? So cache is not for me? I mean, it would be cool to clear cache only for pages that got updated, not the whole page.

hmm , I am not sure , how frequent is that new item submission per day ? like a lot ?

based on your setting , it should only purge the page of that content itself , but if you see it purges some pages that is not supposed , I would ask to grab some plugin’s logs on purge , see what exactly was going on
