I have two groups on my page. Default registration group, and second closed group.

Because of the nature of that closed group, I need to set so that only already registered and logged users can apply to join. In other words, I want to disable registration for the closed group and if someone wants to join they have to register first normally like they would and then apply to join.

How can I do that? Do I need any extension or something?

    Hello @gasmon,

You can create a group page using the shortcode [profilegrid_group gid=”x”], where ‘x’ represents the Group ID. After that, assign this group page to a group by selecting the ‘Group Page’ option under ‘Basics’ in the group settings.

To restrict access to the group page for logged-in users, utilize the content restriction feature. For additional information on content restriction, please visit the following link: https://profilegrid.co/restrict-content-wordpress-site-ease/

I hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions.

I need an option to restrict access for logged out users.

Like, in order to apply to join a closed group user has to be logged in first.
