image resizing doesn't work

    my site is build on a fresh-installed wp3.0.1 and is using the default theme twentyten.

    the problem is this:

    if I upload a picture and then set it to display smaller than its actual size, it just wouldn’t work. The picture will still show in its original size.

    Has anyone met this problem?
