• Hello.

I’ve installed OceanWP and demo “Simple” on a clean WordPress instance. Unfortunately I have some problems with it:

    1. Just after installation it doesn’t looks like demo on OceanWP website – I don’t have contact form on “Contact” site: https://snipboard.io/iOFY5T.jpg

I checked WP Panel and I found these things:

Is this OK after installation or should I do something else or differently?

If I create elementor kit in WP Panel > Elementor > Tools then I can add this contact form from WPForms manually and it looks fine.

    2. After creation of elementor kit I’ve tried to add something else at new site. When I add button then it has custom background color from Elementor and hover color from Customizer. How can I disable all colors from Elementor?

In Elementor tools I have checked two checkboxes: Disable default fonts and colors (set by default after installation OceanWP): https://snipboard.io/LyWZiR.jpg

I’ve already clicked several times on the regenerate all assets file and data in Elementor > Tools and use hard-refreshing keys and it’s not working. Fonts are OK (they are from Customizer, not from Elementor), WPForms has correct appearance from Customizer, but only buttons have background colors from Elementor.

I’ve also removed global colors in Elementor https://snipboard.io/dBKafQ.jpg and now buttons have grey background (I don’t have any grey background color set in Customizer).

How can I disable colors from Elementor?

  • Hello @ala321,

    Thank you for reaching out,

    1. To see the contact form, you must install the “WPForms” plugin: https://postimg.cc/7CbKmGgR. If you installed it and can’t see it on the page, open the page on the page builder and add and adjust the contact form on your desired page.

    2. The Elementor kit is in Elementor, and we don’t have any changes to it on the theme. you can get in touch with your page builder plugin author. Maybe they have a solution that we are not aware of.

    3. What kind of grey background do you get? please share the live URL from that background for buttons. You can adjust the buttons styling in the theme from WP Dashboard > Appearance > Customizing > General Options > Theme Buttons.
Other buttons have a default style in Elementor, so you must add your desired color for the button; it is in Elementor, too: https://postimg.cc/fV3vn4r2.

    4. To disable Elementor default color, please follow the steps explained in this link(which you already did): https://elementor.com/help/theme-style-global-settings/#:~:text=Disable%20default%20colors%20and%20default,Colors%20and%20Disable%20Default%20Fonts.

    I hope it helps.

    3. “Other buttons have a default style in Elementor, so you must add your desired color for the button; it is in Elementor, too: https://postimg.cc/fV3vn4r2.”

    a) What means “other buttons”?

    b) For which buttons I can adjust the buttons styling from WP Dashboard > … > Theme Buttons, and for which I can’t?

    c) For buttons which I add in Elementor I can adjust styling from WP Dahsboard > … > Theme Buttons?

Ps. I’m testing all buttons in theme – I’m trying to style them from WP Dashboard > … > Theme Buttons, and I see I can’t style the button “Shop now” on Home page: https://snipboard.io/1Tn0tp.jpg Why? Why it doesn’t work for button which you provide in theme?

Styling of color from “Theme Buttons” works for your button “GO” in Footer but it doesn’t work for button which I add in this Footer. Why? https://snipboard.io/KqGyxz.jpg

And I don’t see any other button for which this “Theme Buttons” styling works. So what can I set with this “Theme Buttons”? Which buttons?

    Hello @ala321,

The button settings in the Customizer will control only the buttons in the theme, like these: https://postimg.cc/1fL9n38G / https://postimg.cc/nXzvzTQj including cart, checkout and etc – which you can change those buttons in Customizer > WooCommerce > Advanced Styles.

For all buttons in Elementor, you must set the general button styling in Site Settings or set a custom color for buttons.

    I hope it helps.

    Best Regards
