We activated site accelerator to reduce file size of images.

But when I look in the network tab of Chrome’s dev tools (with cache deactivated) I still see a lot of images being delivered without any file size reduction.

E.g. the image https://apollo-news.net/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Screenshot-2024-02-07-at-13.11.05.png is loaded with it’s full size of 5.3 MB.

Why are still images delivered to the Browser in full size and is there anything we can do about it?

Additional Info: most content of our site is loaded via ajax by another plugin. It seems that images which are inside the ajax content are not being delivered through the CDN. Can we fix this somehow?

    Hi there,

Can you try disabling the plugin that loads the content using AJAX and see if the CDN works correctly?

Let me know how it goes.

Sorry, you can close this question as we switched to another image compression solution in the mean time. Still thanks for helping me out.

    Hi there, @hussain76,

We’re sorry to hear you had to switch to a different product to handle your images!

We hope you’re still using Jetpack for all the other features we offer ??

I’m going to mark this thread as solved. If you have any further questions or need more help, you’re welcome to open another thread here. Cheers!
