Uploading a single shop backup from a multishop

    Hey i run a multishop. when i create a backup the system creates a backup of all the shops in the multishop system. afterwards, is it possible to just upload a backup of just one shop to my ftp server?

    Hi @rubenspitzbub, thanks for reaching out!

    In most cases, when you create a backup of a multisite network, it encompasses all the sites within that network. There isn’t a built-in option to separate a single site from a multisite backup.

    However, you can manually export the content of a single site via the “Export” option under “Tools” in the WordPress dashboard. This will give you an XML file of the site content, which you can then upload to your FTP server.

    Please keep in mind that, this method only exports content and not themes, plugins or settings.

    For a complete backup, you might need to use third-party plugins or services that offer single site backup in a multisite network.
