Receipt not sent automatically after last update

Hi,
we are using the free version of the plugin.
Before latest update we configure the receipt template as suggested in the plugin page. We configure the plugin to generate automatically the receipt after an order and automatically sent it to the customer.
Now after update the receipt is not generated automatically and not sent to the customer. If we go into the order page and generate the receipt manually all is working, the template is good with no error.
We check the email with SMTP log and all emails are sending correctly but with no attachment. No errors showed in the SMTP log and also in the Woocommerce error log.
We check your website and see that the receipt section now is in the PRO version. We need the upgrade to autosend the receipt? or the plugin have to work correctly also with the free versione?
