    I have been using Icegram Express for the last while and was delighted with it. It worked perfectly each time I posted, but suddenly for no apparent reason it stopped.

    Whenever I posted, a small Icegram popup appeared with a link to Reports, before the usual link to the post itself. That popup no longer appears. The Reports page doesn’t show the new post. The Logs report does show an entry –

    Nothing actually happens though and no mails are sent.

    I have tried everything I can think of and followed every suggestion I can find online. I have disabled all plugins, tried different mailing systems, tried setting up cron on my server and even deleted Express and reinstalled it. There are no error reports anywhere I can find.

    Incidentally, nothing changed on the site at the time of failure – no updates, modifications or anything like that.

    The only thing of note is that the subscriber list passed 500 at the time [it’s a small site].

    To identify the cause, kindly consider the following suggestions:

    1) Have you recently updated the plugin or changed the hosting?

    2) Did you receive the test email after sending it? Click here to check.

    3) When publishing, are you duplicating, cloning, or republishing the post by altering the content (not creating a new one)?

    Thanks for the quick response.

    I updated the plugin when the latest version was released [on the 3rd of this month?]. It worked perfectly after that. There were no other changes or updates to anything else at the time the problem occurred. There were no changes to the hosting environment.

    Test email works perfectly. I also sent a broadcast message to the subscriber list. That worked. It’s only the post notification that now apparently does nothing.

    Each post is new and unique!

    The problem seems to be that on submitting a new post, it now fails to queue the notification list.

    They did indeed fix my problem within a couple of days by releasing version 5.7.11 on the 14th Feb. Very efficient response!

    I have exactly the problem described above.

    Everything worked just fine.
    Suddenly, on April 19, 24, no new posts arrived.
    Under “Reports” it says the mails have been sent.
    But they did not arrive.
    I sent a test mail to myself as a trial. But it did not arrive.

    Help would be very appreciated –

    Hello again,

    I have since contacted the host. They have ruled out that the cause lies with them.

    There was an update recently. Could that perhaps be related to this?

    Oops, here come the missing mails!
    Did that have something to do with WordPress itself?
    Anyway, it’s great that the error seems to have been fixed.
