• I have a feature request and will try to explain my idea by giving an example.

As prerequisite the default theme with a blank WP installation is used.

Currently when editing a page, you can place “blocks” i.e. desing element like paragraphs, blockquote, graphics, pictures, list, etc… at a page. if you want to “disable” or “hide” an element from rendering for the audience, then the only ways is to copy the page and remove the element you don’t want to show. There are plugins outside, adding a checkbox “hide element” or so named to WordPress′ blocks.

The other way is to add an addtional css class to the theme, which entails other disadvantages – like the css is no more visible once you have moved away from the Theme Design Editor and return later again to Add additional css field – and use this class to hide or make invisble this certain element.

I would like to see this feature as an out-of-the-box feature in WP for everyone. Specifically, as the WP is today impossible the all addional added css classes for a certain theme.

My apologizes if such feature has been asked before – I searched but didn’t found anything similiar in the forum.

    Best Alex
