Hello! I’m totally new to LiteSpeed-Cache.

Actually I’m connected with a free account to Quick.cloud, and I can see in the media WP page that 5 images have been optimized and converted to Webm.

    1. But, I can’t understand if and when the other images wil be optimized and converted to Webm. I can read in the docs that it’s a cron job, but when it will happen?

    2. Furthermore, I’ve replaced an image, and with LiteSpeed activated I’m keeping to see the old image. So, reading here and there, I’ve discovered that I had to restore from the backup the original one, … … but now??

    3. Furthermore, I can read in the docs that should be there a “Rescan New Thumbnails” feature, for new images (https://docs.litespeedtech.com/lscache/lscwp/imageopt/#image-optimization-summary-tab) but I can’t see it anywhere…

Please could you give me some advices?

    Many thanks!

    1. there is a concept “quota” , so when quota allows , it will run as cron triggers
    2. you may need to restore or delete the optimization before you replace it
    3. that is removed in newer version , will ask our doc team to edit it

    Thank-you for your kind reply.

Actually in my website I have just 13 images, and just 5 of them seem to be optimized. Please could you tell me why I still in the media, under “Lightspeed Optimization”, many of them with “WebP —” , instead of “WebP saved …% (optm)” ?

Maybe I’ve reached the quota? How much is it? Is per day, or in total?

    Many thanks

that means no webp for this file

this usually happens before the image was optmized before , and when our plugin try to optimize again , it doesn’t have good result on webp files , like webp is larger than jpg , in such case, webp will be dropped
