Jetpack Boost speed scores time out

    Am using Jetpack, along with Jetpack Boost. Have WP Optimize installed, but have turned of Page Caching.
    Have been working on images within posts, re-editing posts. Have moved images in library to new folders using Filebird.
    All these operations worked before with Decent desktop and average mobile scores. Now, JetPack Boost just keeps getting worse. First, the speed scores went way down. Now, they repeatedly time out.
    Help! I am a stand alone, intuitive and capable novice blogger. The site is in good shape, albeit, something is rotten in Denmark. Can you help?

    Stef, Apologize for not responding/keeping up with this thread. Had additional issues.
    However, thank you Alin for your suggestions.
    In the space of a week, I have made some fundamental changes with plugins and site maintenance. WP Rocket plays well with JetPack, along with some other changes.
    Other than layout issues, the site is running well and running fast.
