Comments being added as wrong users on WordPress network

Please inform us of how we can reproduce the issue on our website. Provide detailed information so that we can thoroughly investigate the issue.

In my case I have a WP network site with about 100+ sites, users were going from site to site and were commenting as the last person that was previously commenting. It’s a mix of custom urls, subdomains, and subdirectorys, ie. https://www.example.com & images.example.com & https://www.example.com/images/ would be three different sites.

If you give me a heads up on how comments should be pulling the user information I can try to investigate further on my end.

I should say, we’ve been struggling with the “invalid nonce” for a while now when going from site to site, that’s why I’m suspicious of what’s going on.
