    hi all,

i want to create a simple product filter for my shop category sites. the filteroptions should be “hardy” and “tropical”. i tried to add the widget “products by attributes” but then all products with these attributes are shown in total.

(https://snipboard.io/j3w9Cm.jpg) i just want a checkbox list with the two options “hardy” and “tropical” like it is shown here: https://snipboard.io/H6MBLn.jpg (this video did not help me sadly)

i added these attributes to my products but it just doesnt work. i already searched in the internet for some “how to do” but only fuound plugin options. i just want to use the woocommerce filter option.

    thank you for any help!

    Hi there @grunblatt ??

Thanks for reaching out to Woo Support!

i added these attributes to my products but it just doesnt work. i already searched in the internet for some “how to do” but only fuound plugin options. i just want to use the woocommerce filter option.

Feel free to go ahead with the following, for having a filter by attribute widget on your site’s sidebar:

    • Create product attributes (hardy and tropical), and assign them to products
    • Add the Filter by Attribute widget, to the site’s sidebar, as exemplified here

Please note that the theme utilized in the video shown in the screenshot is Storefront theme, and the current one at the site at https://gruenblattmonster.de/shop is Astra (screenshot linked here, for reference). Therefore, feel free to reach out to the currently active theme’s support channel (linked here), should you still face difficulty with displaying the widget on the site, as they would be in a better position to assist you.

I hope this is helpful! Please let us know if you have any further questions or concerns.
We will be happy to help you further.
