    hello,

The issue I am having is: when I go to edit a page, I get a white blank page and no editing buttons/menus, etc. oddly, however, when viewing my website I can see all of it’s contents. This is a new issue as I’ve had this website for a many years but am using a new theme as early 2023.

Any help or suggestions is much appreciated,

    charmaine

    Hey Charmaine ??

    Thanks for reaching out!

It looks like you are experiencing issues editing a page, where you are getting a white blank page with no editing buttons or menus, correct?

This is a new issue as I’ve had this website for a many years but am using a new theme as early 2023.

Did the issue first surface after switching themes? If so, it’s possible that the issue is due to a theme conflict. To check, you can temporarily switch to a default theme, such as Storefront, and see if this resolves the issue.

To prevent testing on your live site, you can use the free?Health Check?plugin which will allow you to switch themes while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

If the issue is still present when switching themes, can you please share the following with us here:

    • System Status Report: you can find this via WooCommerce → Status. Select Get system report and then Download for Support. This will download a TXT file that has the contents of the SSR which you can then share with us here.
    • Fatal Error Log: Share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce → Status → Logs.
    • Screenshot(s):?Please share a clear screenshot of what you are seeing on your end when editing a page.

If you do not already have a screenshot tool installed,?Snipboard.io?can be used for easily sharing screenshots.

    Cheers!

    Hi Roxy,

thank you for your reply. I just put my website in “troubleshooting mode” via the Health Check plug-in you recommended. In this mode I was able to switch themes and attempt to edit from the back-end. when I clicked “edit” I was able t see the current text and edit buttons.

sadly, I do not know what to do from here? I do notice that there is some code mixed-in with my text.

is there an additional step to take from here. your advice is much appreciated.

    Hey Charmaine

    Thanks for sharing an update!

It seems like the issue may be specific to your Adorn theme. Since the problem disappears when you switch to a different theme, it indicates that there might be a compatibility issue with your current theme, possibly due to outdated code or conflicting functions.

Since support related to third-party themes/plugins is outside our scope of support, I’d suggest reaching out to the Adorn theme developers for further help with this, as they may have a workaround or fix ??

I believe you can contact the theme developers here:

    Hope this helps!
