• I receive the following message when I try to activate the Google Calendar plugin:
    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_OBJECT_OPERATOR in /usr/local/pem/vhosts/112026/webspace/httpdocs/FitchburgLions/wp-content/plugins/google-calendar-events/inc/gce-parser.php on line 102

    Hi Megan,

    This is almost certainly because the server where you website is hosted is still running PHP4. The majority of servers now run PHP5. In fact, WordPress itself will no longer support PHP4 fairly soon, so it is probably in your interests to contact your webhost and ask them to enable PHP5 for you / move you to a PHP5 server.

    Once running on PHP5, this error won’t occur, but let me know if you have any other issues!
