• Hi there,

Is there any way I can disable or use the ‘Fixed style for page’ setting on a specific product category?

The grid / list plugin works great for the most part, but in categories where I have variable products with labels or banners the list option isn’t useable unfortunately.

Perhaps there’s a snippet I can use to target a specific category?

You can see what I mean on my staging site here: https://comicboo105stg.wpenginepowered.com/product-category/comic-book-subscriptions/

Really appreciate any help you can provide!

    Hi there,

As a workaround I was able to solve the issue by using a different plugin to limit where this one is active.

That said, if there is a way to apply the ‘Fixed style for page’ to categories in the future please let me know.

I spoke too soon… damn it!

So with the plugin apparently deactivated on all categories but the few I want it on, I’m seeing the ‘List’ display in all categories after it’s selected in the categories I’d like to have the option in.

So if ‘List’ selected, when I then browse to another category that shouldn’t have Grid / List active (so should display in grid as standard) and use the pagination to go to the next page, the ‘List’ display shows up on page 2?!

I guess I need to be able to select categories I want the plugin to run on from within your plugin, as it seems the 3rd party option isn’t up to the task.

Any suggestions on how I can specifically select categories would be very much appreciated.

Unfortunately it’s currently unusable for my needs, though that’s website specific of course.

So it seems to be a conflict with the Ajax pagination I’m using with your Advanced AJAX Product Filters for WooCommerce plugin.

If I select ‘Disable AJAX Pagination’ in Advanced AJAX Product Filters for WooCommerce, the pages load fine with no Grid/List View issues.
This does however mean I can’t use AJAX Pagination.

I also tested with your WooCommerce Load More Products plugin, but had the same issue with all Ajax loading options.

Here’s a screenshot of a page loading the ‘List’ on the same page as the ‘Grid’ using the ‘Load More option, so you can see what I mean:
