New column called “Origin”

    Hi all…

    I logged in to a site today and looked on the orders tab and noticed a new column called “Origin”.

    In this column it shows the source of the sale, be it Google, Referral, etc…

    I’m really confused as i have 3 x sites all setup the same and only 1 site is showing this column…?

    It is possible another plugin has added this column to your website.

    Is there any plugins you have only on this site, but not on the others?

    If not, the plugins they have in common are all on the same version?

    Can you share a screenshot of the column you mentioned? You can blur any private information on it. I recommend using https://snipboard.io. You can share the direct link to the image as a response to this topic.

    Furthermore, I’d like to understand your site properly. Please share with us the System Status Report which you can find via WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support.

    This has appeared on my website as well. Orders are now listed as to whether they are organic, referred or direct as well as unknown. I assumed it was a WordPress or Woocommerce update, not a different plugin. I would be interested on any further information on it, as it does not appear to have any way to establishing where this has came from.

    The new column you are seeing is a result of the Order?Attribution feature which was baked into WooCommerce core 8.5.0.

    The new “Order?Attribution:?feature allows you to determine the source of the orders in your store, which helps you make more informed decisions about where to invest both time and money. This new feature enhances information available in the Orders?table and the Orders edit page:

    This feature is great, and it will be better if there is a summary analysis for all the order origins!
