Contrast Mode Interferes with Elelemntor accordion in mobile

We have an Elementor accordion on out site. In mobile mode, the accordion is closed and has a plus sign indicating it can be opened. It also has a title near the plus sign:

When, in the a11y widget we choose color contrast, the titles are covered with the background color, and the pluses appear as minuses.

I tried playing around with the CSS, but couldn’t find any way to fox those two problems.
