Continue reading link in follower emails not working

  • I have used the More block in my blog posts for many years. Each time I upload a new post my “followers” receive an email notification with the Excerpt (i.e., the text before the More block) and then a link to Continue reading. This has worked fine for years. Recently, however, the Continue reading link in the email does not work – it attempts to load the blog post but seems to get stuck in a loop and never loads the page. Clicking the Title of the post in the email and/or the Comment link both work fine. Any thoughts?

  • The “Continue reading” links on your homepage and archive pages all work fine.

    Given that WordPress itself has no “follower” or new post notification by email feature, the problem would have to do with whatever plugin you’re using to send these emails.

    JetPack? Or something else?

    Thanks. Yes, it is Jetpack I’m using for this feature but I cannot find anywhere in Jetpack where or how to report this bug or how the configuration might have changed in recent weeks to make this no longer function. Any ideas where I might look for help?
