    Hi,

I tried going to the dashboard by clicking admin button on my web host instead of opening directly it said that an authentication code has been sent on your email. But when I put that code it showed 404 error.

Why is this happening & how it can be solved?

However 2FA works fine & the dashboard opens when I login with the admin url.

    Regards.

Hi @7oceans, we’re here to help! Can you please confirm if this issue is the same as what you posted on this?thread??

Suppose this is a different issue; this could be due to a misconfiguration with the redirection process when you try to log in to the site using your host’s admin button. In this case, I’d recommend checking these steps to see if it helps:

    • Verify that the URL configured in your host’s admin button matches the URL of your site’s dashboard. If you have Hide Backend enabled, make sure it matches the specified HBE slug. Also, if you’ve configured rewrite rules, ensure they are configured correctly.
    • Try clearing all sorts of cache, preferably in this manner: server cache -> CDN cache (if you use it) -> plugin cache -> browser cache.
    • Ensure that your server and site’s timezone are synced correctly.

I hope this helps, and let us know how it goes!
