Email Not Sending on Order Status Processing

  • I have a gift card but i have to go set order status to completed for the email to be sent to RECIPIENT, i want it to be sent on order statuts processing as it is a virtua product. I tried to auto change stuts to complete but still it does not work although the status changes to completed.

    Hi ,

    By default the gift is created and sent on “processing” and “completed” status and change this it is required to use the hook “yith_ywgc_generate_gift_card_on_order_status”. Please make the following test:

    • Disable your plugin except WooCommerce and our plugin
    • Change your theme to a Twenty Twenty-Three

    Now check if the issue persist.

    I have tested both the options that you provided but still the same happens, I have to go and manually complete the order from dashboard in order for the gift card email to be send.

    In that we would like to know which version of WooCommerce, WordPress and PHP you are using so we can test an installation with your same versions that you have in your site. Also, let us know if you have any WooCommerce advance feature activated.

    Hi there we are having the same issue as this on one of our websites using the Free version of the plugin (4.10.0) , WordPress 6.4.3 and PHP 8.2.16 if that is any help, using the Gutenberg block based checkout.

    Gift Voucher codes are not created against the order (or sent out) until the order is marked “completed”, when we expect it to occur on processing.
