This plug in is great. I just wanted to start with that. I have some questions…

    1. Does deleting the only item in “View” break the images from the “Content”? I deleted it, saved it, checked the front-end page, and saw the error that something wasn’t configured right. Went back, added a new item to “View”, saved, and went back to the front-end page, and the configurator is there, but the thumbnails for the “Content” (including the Content Group’s thumbnail) are gone. I checked in the product’s configurator, and they are gone from there too. If that’s what broke the images, which I believe it is because I didn’t do anythign besides that, there should be a warning that the product will break and you will lose the majority of the configuration setup. Luckily this was just a test site with only 3 swatches. But my client’s site has hundreds, and that would have been really bad.
    2. I don’t have the type of photos that you demonstrate with the Watch demo. And, I don’t need it. So is it possible to show just the bottom portion of the configurator, without CSS?
    3. Even though I have “Allow adding the product to cart without configuring” unchecked, I can still add the product to the cart without configuring.

    Hi there,

    1. Yes, all images, including thumbnails, are linked to the views. So deleting views will break that.
I shall add warnings to prevent this happening accidentally.
    2. Hiding the preview: At the moment this cannot be done without CSS. I can help you with the CSS if you need.
    3. Would you be able to share the product’s URL? This sounds like a “conflict” with the website’s theme.

Hey Marc, sorry for the delay.

    1. Thanks for confirming. I think a very double-confirming warning should be there. It would have been so bad if this was the real site.
    2. I can do the css, I just wanted to see if there was a setting i was missing somewhere.

Here’s a link to the product page that broke as a result of #1:

Thanks for the links. In this instance, this happens because you have the configurator shortcode in the description. The shortcode [mkl_configurator] is usually used on its own, and does not require hiding the add to cart form.
