• Come across a bit of an issue with our site and running round in circles on google.

Pretty much, the pages themselves are quite fast to load (get an average of 90+ on PageSpeed insights)

However, the issue is the URLS loading themselves. For example if you click on a link in the nav, it takes along time for the url to change in the browser, but once that’s done the page load instantly.

Anyone know who to fix this?

    Thanks,

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • The symptom would seem to be that some database processing is going on an un cached page load. You could go through a process of elimination ( it is likely a plugin that is causing it ) or you can use the plugin Query Monitor to analyse processing.

I would recommend disabling litespeed cache while analyzing as otherwise you wont get the raw picture.

    Thanks @alanfuller

I’ve installed the plugin and had a look.. doesn’t look like there are any plugins causing this issue, but I’ll keep diggin use the tool

When I look at your site for an uncached page there is about 10 seconds where Frirefox Dev edition says waiting for facebook, then the other scripts load quickly.

Looking at your pages I see nothing that really relates to facebook. I would try first turning off any plugin or functionlaity that relates to favybook and see.

The only thing Facebook related is the domain verification. Just about to run a test in removing that from the website so if that improves the load time
