Limit user role access to Revisionize?

    Hi, great plugin, thank you!

    Question: is there a way to limit who has access to and sees the Revisionize plugin options.

    Currently for the “Contributor” role it allows users to create revisions of any post on my site.

    They just browse to the post on the site, whilst logged in, and choose “New Revision” from the admin bar.

    However, I would like to prevent contributors from having access to this.

    Is there a way?

    Thanks for using PublishPress Revisions.

    Just to confirm, do you want to:

    • Hide Revisions menu for specific user
    • Or hide new revisions button and only has that button for specific post?

    Answering these question will help us give better answer which plugin you need.

    Hi.

    The main goal I have is that users can’t create revisions of any post on the site.

    That could be through hiding just the revisions button.

    Or, hiding both the button and the menu.

    However, only hiding the menu (in your screenshot) but not the button (when viewing posts logged in) wouldn’t solve it.

    Thoughts?

    @aph5 Do you want to restrict the create revisions only or also hide the post for that user?
