It is very bad practice to send spam just because you grabbed the email from the backend. Plugin should be removed from repository.

    Hey @phalancs,

We’re sorry to hear about your experience and want to address your concerns. Our plugin and our team do not engage in spamming practices. The functionality you mentioned involves connecting a “Source” within the plugin, where users have the option to be added to a marketing email list through a pre-filled email (logged-in WordPress user email) and a checkbox. We take user consent seriously and ensure that this process is transparent and optional. An example of what this looks like can be seen in this screenshot.

We understand the importance of clear communication and user choice, and we’d like to emphasize that our aim is to provide a convenient way for users to opt into relevant communications, not to spam anyone’s inbox. You can also at any point fully unsubscribe from all mails or reach out to us for assistance to do so.

If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out. We’re here to assist and ensure a positive experience for all our users.

    Many thanks,
    Joel
