Segment by User Role

    By ‘user role’, do you mean WordPress user roles such as administrator, subscriber, etc.? If so, that’s not possible because you can have a CRM contact without having a WordPress user associated with it.

    Segment conditions can only apply to Jetpack CRM contact information. For example, you can use Contact Status field (as specified in this doc), though you’ll need Advanced Segments to do that: https://kb.jetpackcrm.com/knowledge-base/advanced-segments/
