    Hi, great plug-in!

I’m having trouble getting taxonomy descriptions to import properly. The descriptions use <a>, <ul>, and <li> tags. I’ve already removed the WP filters that strip html tags, so the tags are actually importing fine.

But the html doesn’t immediately render! In both the taxonomy admin pages and on the front end, the tags show like any other text.

I can fix the problem simply by going to a term’s admin-edit page and hitting the “update” button — after that the html renders properly on both the admin page and on the front end.

But with 1000+ taxonomy terms, I don’t want to have to “update” each one individually.

I’m sure there’s an easy bit of code I can use in the import templates function editor to automate this, but what is that code??

    Thanks for your help!

    Hi @apedersen,

Importing taxonomy terms on their own is a pro feature, so we can only help with this via the support form on our website (these WP forums are only for our free plugins). Please replicate the issue on a sandbox site at https://www.wpallimport.com/debug/, then send us the sandbox site URL along with a brief description of the issue via https://www.wpallimport.com/support/.

Just to follow up, I recreated the problem in a sandbox and the team suggested upgrading my pro version to the latest beta — 4.8.6-beta-2.2 — would solve the problem and it did! Thanks for help!
