Is it possible to deactivate the “Do not Track” feature from Koko Analytics?

Meaning you want to track people even if they have do Not Track enabled?

In the latest version of Koko that should be the case by default.

yes exactly. Do you mean it is on as default? If yes how can I deactivate it?

It will by default track people even if they have do not track activated because we found a lot of people have that activated without knowing it and because we feel that Koko doesn’t really track users, it just counts the totals in a privacy friendly way.

what about events? I tested it but the events didn’t get tracked wen someone has active “do not track”

If you are on Koko Analytics Pro 1.0.6 or later then the “Do Not Track” header is ignored altogether. On versions before 1.0.6 it was still respected, and nothing would be tracking if “Do Not Track” was used.

mhhh. I’m on the newest version. So there is a different problem I think. When I try the events I setup in incognito everything works fine and I see the result in the analytics. If a different user fire the event, nothing happens.:(

Did you set it to not track certain user roles and is the user that’s not tracked logged in?
Are you using a caching or cdn service or plugin?
