Thank you for contacting us about this.

We have been doing tests to try to replicate the error, however, these have not led to being able to replicate it. Is it possible for you to tell us which plugin for role management you are using? We would like to carry out specific tests with that plugin to see if there is something we are not seeing.

Currently, when a user possesses two or more roles and there exists a hidden category associated with both of those roles, it remains hidden from the user. However, if the category is visible to one of those roles, the user can still see it because one of their roles allows it.

We tested again, this time with the “HM Multiple Roles & Role and Customer Based Pricing for WooCommerce” plugins installed, but was unable to replicate the error.

Note that a category designated as hidden for a specific role does not appear for users assigned that role, and this holds true regardless of how many roles the user may have.
