Invalid or incomplete URL

    Hello,

    Today, I got this message for all the galleries I try to display : “URL fournie invalide ou incomplète fournie“. I do not know the exact words that are displayed on an English website but it’s about “Invalid or incomplete URL“.

    I’ve no idea where is the problem. Please, could you help ? Thanks.

    Clear all caches. For security reasons it is now mandatory to have encrypted links, so the link:
    https://www.photoclubstrenan.fr/galeries/wppaspec/oc1/lnfr/cv0/ab68
    is invalid because you may no longer use the actual album id in an url.

    Where does that link come from???

    Hi Jabob,

    Thank yoiu very much for your quick reply. The URL I gave you is this I’ve been using for many years in the menu of my WordPress website. Where can I get the encrypted URL ? What is the address of the gallery root ? Thank you.

    Go to Photo Albums -> Albums -> Edit album with id = 68.
    Click Show the album settings and look at
    Unchangeable items.

    Next to Album number it says Encrypted

    Copy the code shown there and replace 68 of the menu item with that code, save menu.

    Done.

    I am retired and it is my only hobby, working on it every day during the last 10+ years.

    As stated in the changelog, a few security related issues are adressed in the latest version.
    The change here is: a visitor can no longer change a link in the browsers addressline to see a different album or photo; maybe one that you do not want him to see. He can no longer change the album id id (e.g. 68 to anything else) because he does not know the corresponding crypt code.

    I have the same problem. If I push the send button of the wppa+ Super View widget, then in the URL appears the album ID not encrypted an an error massage Invalid or incomplete URL appears.

    What can I do, thanks.

    I have nearly the same issue. After transfering WP Album from a website with Version 7.3.10.002 to the actual with Version 8.6.03.005, the links to the Directories don’t work anymore (error “Invalid or incomplete URL provided”).

    If I ?look at the Unchangeable items, I don’t see any code in “Encrypted”. How can I manage to get thoses Directories as encrypted?

    Advanced settings -> Maintenance -> I -> Items 18 and 20

    Just run them both once by pressing the Start! button, preferrably one at a time; wait for completion and then the other
