Does not work for Block Checkout page?

Currently, our plugin partially supports blocks checkout. Only PayPal Express buttons, Pay Later, Venmo, Apple Pay, & Google Pay buttons?can be used on the Block Cart and the Block Express Checkout. The Block Checkout still does not offer third-parties any way to?remove or replace the “Place order” button.

We’re working closely with the Woo team, but it depends on when it will be possible to achieve the customizations described in the discussion linked above. The moment this is possible, PayPal Payments will take advantage of it to provide proper gateways with smart buttons and hosted card fields.

PayPal is in a unique position here as no other payment provider relies this heavily on custom iframe buttons for embedded payment processing.

These functionalities are currently unsupported, but are under development:

• PayPal Block Checkout gateway with smart buttons
• Advanced Card Processing Block Checkout gateway with hosted fields
• Alternative Payment Methods (including OXXO & Pay upon Invoice gateways)
• Vaulting
• Subscriptions
• Pay Later messaging

I’m a custom plugin developer, and I ran into issues with the default Block Checkout page in WooCommerce. Luckily, I found a fix for WooCommerce and came across a helpful article on integrating a WooCommerce Payment Gateway with support for WooCommerce Checkout Blocks .

These functionalities are currently unsupported, but are under development:

• PayPal Block Checkout gateway with smart buttons
• Advanced Card Processing Block Checkout gateway with hosted fields

So, @inpsydekrystian, any schedule to support it please?

After the latest updates to WooCommerce, Germanized, and WooCommerce PayPal payments, are all PayPal payments now supposed to work with WooCommerce block checkout when using the latest plugin versions, including WooCommerce PayPal payments 2.5.4 ?
